PLEASE NOTE: FAT QUARTERS (FQs) are cut/sold as follows:

SLIM FABRIC WIDTH (43/44inches = 110/112cm width of fabric) are cut to 18″ x 22″ (46cm by 56cm) fat quarters to go with most patchwork projects or US youtube tutorials

BROAD FABRIC WIDTH (54 – 60inches = 137cm to 150cm width of fabric) are cut to 50cm by half width (68cm to 75cm) fat quarters.
Polycottons, Poplin Cottons, Lining Fabrics and some others are ripped to be straight to the grain.

Classic Patchwork cottons 44inches/112cm are Rotary cut along a ruler, perpendicular to the folded edge of the fabric as it comes on the bolt.
