Moon sewing thread reels by Moon are a a lubricated sewing thread, made from 100% staple spun polyester. It is a budget thread, originally meant to be the overlocking thread for Coats, it is thinner than your usual Guetermann 50 weight Polyester thread but if used for sewing seams that are not under stress (i.e. jeans) then it is perfectly fine and therefore very popular.
Each reel carries 1000yards of thread, perfect for overlocking and general machine sewing for non abrasive materials.
