This kit will knit either a two-tone hat or a pair of gloves in Sirdar Haworth Tweed DK.  This yarn is lovely and soft due to its 50% merino wool content and knits into a soft tweed-like fabric.

The pattern includes instructions for a hat to fit an average size adult’s head and a pair of gloves.  This small kit includes 2 balls of yarn and will make either the hat or the gloves. We do also offer a large kit which includes two balls of yarn which will make both the hat and the gloves.

The kit includes two colours of Haworth Tweed:  Cotton Grass Cream (911) and your choice of contrasting colour:  Millstone Grey (913), Calder Sky (904), Hepworth (901), Hockney Blue (903), Heathered Bilberry (905), West Riding Red (906), Ryedale Russet (907), Moorland Moss (909), Bronte Bronze (908).

Tension

24 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm/4″ in stocking stitch with 3.75 mm (UK9-USA5) needles or size to achieve correct tension.

Materials Included in Kit 

Written Pattern plus 1 x 50 g Haworth Tweed DK in Cotton Grass (911) and 1 x 50 g Haworth Tweed DK in contrasting colour

Additional Materials Required Not Included In Kit

One 3.25 mm (UK10-USA3) 40 cm Circular Needle (or longer if magic loop method is preferred) for hat or size required to acheive correct tension.  One pair of 3.75 mm (UK9-USA5) Knitting Needles and 1 set of 2 3 mm (UK11) Double Pointed Needles for Gloves or size to achieve correct tension.
