Avery MicroStitch Fastener Refill Micro Fasteners WHITE 1200 pcs

These Avery Dennison Micro Fasteners are compatible with the MicroStitch and MicroTach tools, commonly used to tack quilts instead of using safety pins, also great for making dance tutus.

These are durable plastic fasteners that provide secure and invisible attachment of several layers. Also used for basting and quick hemming. If required, you can remove these fasteners again with scissors or clippers, making sure you do not snip the material next to them.

Avery Dennison Micro Stitch Instructions

1. Test the fastening system on a small sample of each material to be attached before use.
2. Remove the protective needle guard before using the tool.
3. Insert the long end of the round connecting bar on the micro fastener clip into the round guide slot at the top of the tool and push it into the guide until it “clicks” in place.
4. Squeeze the trigger all the way to release the micro fastener.
5. Pull the clip out of the round guide slot and release the trigger.
6. Check the partial clip for damage before reloading.
7. Push the needle of the tool through the items to be attached.
8. Hold the material firmly against the front of the tool and squeeze the trigger completely.
9. Release the trigger and withdraw the needle and tool from the material.
10. Material is now securely attached.
    Always use the needle guard when the tool is not in use. Place the needle, point end first, into the needle guard, turn the needle lock towards the front of the tool, insert the needle with the needle slot aligned with the slot in the tool, and turn the needle lock 180° back towards the rear of the tool.
