Bondaweb – how to use?
You iron the bondaweb piece onto the fabric first, paper side up, fabric left side up. THEN you cut out the shapes, that way the already applied bondaweb prevents the fraying of the cut edges of the fabric. Then you peel the paper off, turn the fabric over and iron it onto another fabric in the chosen position.
Do not mix up Bondaweb with Wundaweb – the latter is the thin 2cm strip used to turn up trousers, its fusible both sides, like bondaweb, but it does not come with the paper attached to one side. So you could use it in place of the bondaweb if you had any in the house but you would need to be very careful how to apply the wundaweb to the shapes you want to fuse to another fabric as it can get messy if bits of the wundaweb are sticking out from under the shaped fabric and make your iron all smudgy.
