DENSE BATTING

Internally bonded, compressed polyester batting for patchwork table runners, quilt as you go, advent calendars, oven gloves, wall hangings etc. Not so much recommended for actual quilts as this waddings strength is that it stays firm and crisp, whilst for quilts you would like a more “huggy” wadding/batting.

Heavyweight, soft and compact sewable wadding made from synthetic fibres and featuring good heat and insulation properties.

Application areas
For pot holders and pot mats (use at least two layers), chairs and sofa covers, patchwork and quilting. Can also be used as an ironing pad (use at least two layers) and as an ironing cover for the protection of sensitive fabrics (pearls, sequins). Suitable for all fabrics.
We use it a lot for our bag kits as it gives the bags a nice stiffness without being hard and “papery”.

Processing

Simply lay underneath and sew together. Quilting spacing: 15–20 cm. Can be used as an ironing pad and as an ironing cover to protect sensitive fabrics (beads, sequins).
