We have chosen to stock this particular bias binding as it has their folds to the middle from each side and not just “a little bit inwards” like some inferior products. Please note that one of the folds is a fraction shorter than the other, so if you fold the bias over, you see one edge ever so slightly overlap the other. When edging fabric, you position the tape with the shorter fold on the top so when stitching through, you can be sure that you meet the back fold and do not stitch next to it / miss it by mistake.
This bias tape is nice and stiff and will hold its shape when edging fabric. Should you wish to use it for curves/cleavages etc then you would want to slightly pull it whilst stitching it on, so it allows you to shape it.
