Come along, enjoy some hand embroidery, chat and have a cuppa!
This is our relaxed Hand Embroidery Club every other MONDAY EVENING, this club follows a fortnightly pattern all year round.
- All levels of total Beginners or post-beginner/advanced hand embroiderers welcome!
- Be in good company and work on whichever project you like, should you be stuck for ideas then we have suggestions for many projects, patterns, templates… and all shop stock purchases on the day of the session for any supplies you may need entitle you to 10% off.
- we show you where you find all those free patterns online and how you can print them onto e.g. Solufix adhesive embroidery template interfacing or how you can use waste canvas and other “gadgety helping hands” on your embroidery journey
- Should you wish to make a pouch or a tote bag etc with your embroidered pieces, we are very happy to show you how to sew a zip into an embroidered pouch or how to line an embroidered bag, whatever you would want to know!
- You may of course bring in a project you have seen somewhere else and work on that, ask away if you get stuck!
- This is meant to be a fortnightly meet up of like minded people who would love to explore hand embroidery, learn new stitches, take excitement and interest from seeing other participants embroidery projects and just have some distracting me-time and creative fun!
