These Fat Quarters are premium 100% Cotton fabric, cut to 18″ x 22″ (46cm by 56cm) size to correspond with most patchwork projects or US youtube tutorials. We cut our fat quarters to this size because many patchworkers/quilters advised us that if selling 50cm fat quarters there would always be that small strip of waste due to most quilt instructions being based on inches.
Wash all fabrics before use. Shrinkage can occur so please take this in to account when ordering fabric. However, from our experience shrinkage on this fabric is very low, max 3percent. This is if washing at 40degrees and spinning at a max of 400 turns, any higher spin will make the fabric fray on the raw edges.
Machine wash with similar colours. Do not dry clean or bleach. Tumble dry low, remove promptly and use warm iron. Better hand over stand to dry.
