Gingham bias binding, folded to the middle from both sides (=60mm wide when fully opened up). Nicely starched so it is very easy to use as flanged bias binding for bunting etc. When finishing curves (cleavage, arm holes) slightly pull the bias whilst sewing it in to make it easier to create the curvy shape.
This gingham comes from France, so the video is in French but it is quite self -explanatory.
