Knitting Kit for two rabbits (Stylecraft Pattern 9355:  Blissful Bunnies): Traditional Colours

This kit is for knitting two traditional white bunnies.  The pattern also includes instructions for knitting a child’s hat but you may need additional yarn for this. Please note that we have substituted yarns for those stipulated in the pattern to achieve traditional Easter Bunny colours.  We also offer the kit with the stipulated yarns.

Measurements:  Bunny measures 34 cm (13.5 in) from top of head to feet.

Gauge:  24 sts and 33 rows to 10 cm, 4 in over stocking stitch on 3.75 needles and 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm, 4 in over stocking stitch on 4 mm needles.

Kit includes:

Written pattern

Yarn for two Rabbits:  two balls of Stylecraft Special DK White (1001); one ball of Stylecraft Special DK Soft Peach (1240).

Yarn for Rabbits Clothes:  Two balls of Sirdar Snuggly DK lemon (0252) and one ball of Sirdar Snuggle DK soft grey (0487). We suggest making the girl rabbit’s dress in lemon and the boy rabbit’s sweater in lemon and grey stripes.

One Skein of Scanfil mending wool in Brown for for the eyes and nose.

Additional Requirements not included in the kit:

One pair 3.75 mm (UK 9 – USA 5) needles for the rabbit, One pair 4mm (UK 8 – USA 6) needles for the clothes OR needle sizes to obtain gauge, polyester toy stuffing.
